If you don't know zoom/have never used it before, here are some instructions on how to get started:
- Start well ahead of the time we have said the Zoom meeting with start (the first time) because you will need to set zoom up before you can use it.
- Watch this very helpful video by Marcia Chadly and follow her instructions for setting up zoom so you are ready. If you follow the video and you need a zoom link to click - use the one in the email we have sent for the meeting (even if it is days before the meeting). It will let you easily get zoom set up.
- About 10 minutes before the start of our meeting, look in the email we have sent before the meeting (we normally send one about a week before the meeting and one on the day) for the link to our specific zoom meeting. Click that link from about 10 minutes before our meeting is due to start.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to get into the meeting.
- You may see other members on the screen and you can chat to them before the chair calls the meeting to order for the talk
- Please MUTE yourself (button in bottom left of screen) so that other people cannot hear any background noise in your room. This is very important as otherwise people can't hear the presentation.
- Unmute yourself if you have a question and speak, or put up your hand to raise the speaker's attention (Reactions button bottom of screen)
